About
Built early. Kept useful.
DeadlockLAB went live in 2024, during the first wave of public Deadlock stats sites. The goal was simple from day one: make Deadlock easier to read without turning the whole experience into clutter, click traps, or generic dashboards.
Started
Opened while the game ecosystem was still young.
Position
Part of the first public wave of tools around the game.
Built for
Stats, builds, player pages, ladder context, and patch tracking.
Why it exists
The site started as a practical answer to a messy problem.
Early Deadlock information moved fast and usually lived in scattered screenshots, Discord posts, spreadsheets, or half-finished tools. DeadlockLAB started because the game needed one place where a player could quickly understand what was happening without digging through noise first.
The first version was much simpler than what is live now, but the tone has stayed the same: direct, readable, and built for people who actually play. We still care more about clarity than decoration, and more about useful reads than feature count by itself.
How we work
A few rules have shaped the product from the start.
Readable first
Tables, boards, and hero pages should scan quickly. If a page looks busy but does not help someone decide faster, it is the wrong direction.
Public-data driven
We work with gameplay and profile data that is already public through the game ecosystem and shape it into a faster product surface.
Independent
DeadlockLAB is not affiliated with Valve. It is an independent stats project built for the community.
Still evolving
Deadlock changes constantly, so the site keeps changing too. New boards, labs, and player tooling only matter if they stay clean enough to trust at a glance.
What lives here
DeadlockLAB is meant to be a working surface, not a brochure.
That is why the core of the site stays close to real decisions: hero stats, player stats, match-driven builds, leaderboard context, rank distribution, labs, and patch notes. Each section is there to answer a concrete question about the current game.
Hero Stats
Read win rates, pick rates, K/D/A and live board views.
Player Stats
Track wins, damage, match volume and hero-scoped player boards.
